PLAN B. ARTIST STUDIOS offers an invigorating artist mentoring residency programme with invited visiting artists running a variety of innovative residencies, art encounters, workshops and retreats.

Set in a beautiful villa nestled in its own mediterranean gardens offering spectacular sea views of the Corinthian Gulf in Greece.

The self contained artist studio and apartment accommodates 4 persons with a fully equiped workshop space, situated in pure nature, surrounded by natural forests and stunning beaches.

Gary Hill 

Since the early 1970’s Gary Hill (b. 1951, Santa Monica, CA), has worked with a broad range of media including sculpture, sound, video, installation and performance, producing a large body of single-channel videos, mixed-media installations, and performance work. Solo exhibitions of his work have been presented at museums worldwide: The Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; Guggenheim Museum SoHo, New York; Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Basel; Museu d’Art Contemporani, Barcelona; Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg; Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei and the Henry Art Gallery, Seattle among others.

In accordance with Greek government guidance, and as part of measures combatting the spread of Covid-19, everyone entering the Athens School of Fine Arts venue must present either a vaccination certificate (valid 14 days after final dose) or a recovery certificate (valid for six months after diagnosis) or a negative PCR or Rapid test (48 hours). 

An ID card or passport must also be presented, for verification purposes.

Face masks are obligatory.

NEW!! Pablo Diserens' marbre en mer is

a marble artefact that contains analog photographs and sound recordings from the shoreline’s surrounding fauna, flora and geologies. Thought as a time capsule, it was placed on the Corinthian Gulf's seafloor by the artist during the spring of 2021.

Join our International Driftwood Sculpture workshop. Forage for your own driftwood pieces in one of the most beautiful wild beaches in Greece and create your own unique sculpture under the guidance of renowned international artists.

Two day workshop. All levels welcomed. Materials and refreshments provided. 80€ per person. Limited spaces available.
